Who Is the Best Real Estate Agent in Draper, UT?

If you're buying or selling in Draper, UT, this question deserves a real answer, not a slogan. The best agent for you in Draper isn't the one with the most yard signs. It's someone who knows this particular city. They should know which side of the county line a SunCrest home sits on, and why that changes the schools. They should know how an east-bench home near the Corner Canyon trails is priced differently from a townhome near the FrontRunner station, and which lots still allow horses. Below is what I'd look for, along with an honest look at my own background so you can decide for yourself.

Why Draper Buyers and Sellers Need a Local Specialist

Draper is really several markets inside one city. SunCrest, up on Traverse Ridge, straddles Salt Lake and Utah counties. The east bench backs up to the Corner Canyon trails. South Mountain wraps around its golf course on the south end of the city. Historic Draper, near Draper City Park, has older homes and some of the city's larger lots. The valley floor near Draper Parkway and Lone Peak Parkway offers condos and townhomes close to TRAX and FrontRunner. And The Point, on the former prison site, broke ground on its first phase in June 2026 and will add new homes for years to come. That range is why Draper's median sale price ($818,458 in August 2026, according to Redfin) can look so different from what's listed down your street.

The market has also shifted. According to Redfin, Draper homes are taking a median of 48 days to sell, prices are down about 3.4% from a year ago, and the market rates "somewhat competitive." About 14% of homes still sell above list price, so well-priced homes move quickly while others sit. In a market like this, pricing a home correctly and negotiating well matter more than ever, for buyers and sellers alike.

Local details matter too. Draper is split between Canyons and Alpine school districts, and the Alpine side becomes the new Aspen Peaks School District in 2027. Some northern Draper addresses are assigned to schools in Sandy. The city has two water companies, depending on the address, and SunCrest's mountain roads are worth checking in winter. An agent who works Draper regularly will know these things before they affect your offer.

Experience and Credentials

  • More than 20 years in Utah real estate: licensed since 2005, with over $60 million in career sales. I've worked both sides of the transaction. For sellers, that means pricing, preparing, and marketing the home. For buyers, it means everything from the first offer through a complicated negotiation.
  • Associate Broker since 2025 with Presidio Real Estate – River Heights. Our office is right here in Draper, on 13490 South.
  • ABR® (Accredited Buyer's Representative) designation.
  • Member of the Women's Council of REALTORS® (WCR).
  • A background in real estate compliance, so I know contracts and the details that are easy to miss.

Involvement in the Industry

Beyond my own clients, I serve on three Salt Lake Board of Realtors committees: the Education Committee, the Government Affairs Committee, and the Charity Committee. That work keeps me current on the rules, contracts, and local policy that affect every Draper transaction.

Who I Work With in Draper

  • First-time buyers taking their first step into homeownership. That often means a condo or townhome on the valley floor near Draper Parkway, TRAX, or FrontRunner.
  • Step-up buyers who need more room, a bigger yard, a view, or a specific school as their family grows.
  • Empty nesters who want to downsize into a single-level home or a lower-maintenance townhome without leaving the Draper neighborhood they know.
  • New construction buyers who want someone on their side when negotiating with a builder, including the new homes coming to The Point.
  • Horse property and acreage buyers and sellers. This is one of my specialties. Draper allows horses only in its RA1, RA2, A2, and A5 zones, and the number of animals depends on lot size, so I check a property's zoning before you write an offer.

Rooted in the Community

In 2019, I co-founded the Danon Foundation. Since then, I've traveled across the U.S. and abroad educating physicians and families about Danon Disease. I also served for more than five years as Parent Association President at a small private school. Both have taught me how closely a family's home, school, and community are connected. That's how I approach every move.

Questions to Ask Any Draper Agent

Whoever you hire, these are fair questions to ask before you sign anything:

  • How many homes have you helped buy or sell in Draper recently?
  • How do you check whether a specific address is in Canyons or Alpine School District, and which schools it feeds?
  • What's the difference between buying in SunCrest, South Mountain, the east bench, and the valley floor, and who tends to buy in each?
  • How do you check HOA fees, zoning for animals, and which water company serves a home before I make an offer?
  • How will The Point affect nearby neighborhoods over the next few years?
  • How are you pricing homes now that Draper homes are staying on the market longer?
