Much of that growth comes from master-planned communities offering newer construction at more accessible prices than nearby Lehi, plus easy access to the Silicon Slopes job market.

Recent market data shows a median sale price of $499,132, up 5.3% year over year. Homes are moving faster too — spending an average of 48 days on market, down from 68 — and 24.4% of homes are selling above list price, up 7.4 points from last year. That puts Saratoga Springs at a "somewhat competitive" 54 out of 100 on the market competitiveness scale.

Fox Hollow and Legacy Farms are among the city's established neighborhoods, and new master-planned communities continue to develop across Saratoga Springs' lakeshore, foothill, and inland areas near Utah Lake — giving buyers a range of options from lake-view lots to more affordable inland streets.

Saratoga Springs is served by the Alpine School District. Elementary options include Saratoga Shores, Sage Hills, Harvest, Riverview, and Thunder Ridge; Vista Heights serves middle schoolers; and Westlake High School is the city's public high school, alongside charter options like Lakeview Academy and Horizon School.

Saratoga Springs sits roughly 10-15 minutes from the Silicon Slopes tech corridor and about 45 minutes from both Salt Lake City and Provo, making it a popular choice for commuters who want more space and newer construction at a more accessible price point.

The city takes its name from Saratoga Springs, New York, after a hot springs resort was built on the site in 1884. The area officially incorporated in December 1997 and became a city in May 2001, and it's grown from just over 1,000 residents in 2000 to more than 61,000 today.

The Saratoga Springs Utah Temple, dedicated in August 2023, is a prominent local landmark. The city is also home to notable residents like former U.S. Representative Mia Love, and the Crossroads area continues to grow as a commercial and dining hub for the community.
